Abena Palmore is an Aveda certified, New York City based, licensed cosmetologist, CutitKinky Stylist, Deva Advanced Stylist, Holistic Practitioner of Trichology specializing in natural hair. Through my YouTube channel,  Embrace Natural Beauty, I share simple tips and techniques that have been helpful to me in my own natural hair journey, that have helped me to maintain my hair, keep it in good condition and retain length which was my goal.  I want to help you maintain your hair to keep it in good condition and retain length, if that is your goal, so that you enjoy your hair and embrace natural beauty of your own.  Through videos, live chats via Periscope and Facebook Live broadcasts, I educate my followers and help them grow their natural hair to longer lengths by using low manipulation techniques and keeping a simple hair care regimen.  I want to be a PART OF your natural hair journey and help YOU to MANAGE your hair towards its healthiest state.

We Offer Great Services to our Clients

Detox

Before the magic happens, the hair needs to be reset to receive the most hydrated outcome

Hydrate and Define

A process for every new and returning client that demonstrates a level of hydration in the hair when natural curls are defined.

Curly Cut

All new clients are detoxed prior to hydrate and define, the curly cut is the final style.  Unless you are a returning client who has mastered the wash and go style with Abena, your hair cut is the last step in the process.

Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive on time, if necessary there is a 15 minute grace period.  Afterwards, a charge of $50 is added to your service. If lateness exceeds 30 minutes you need to contact the salon to see if you can still be serviced, if not you will be charged 100% of the service as a no show.

Cancellation Policy

You will not be charged if you cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment starts. Otherwise, you will be charged 50% of service price for late cancellations and 100% for no shows.
